Hi everyone! I'm Zupero! And today I'm going to tell you about how DC (Direct Current) Motors work!
Direct Current Motors are used widely in the field of robotics, such as heads, shape shifting, movement, rotation, etc.
The person who made the first DC motor Theory was
Michael Faraday in 1821, then developed the first patent-working model by Thomas Davenport in 1837,
Then in 1834, Mortiz Von Jacobi made the first continuously Rotating DC Motor with a world record.
Then alas William Sturgeon invented the strongest DC motor.
DC Motors are Really Easy to understand!

A DC Motor has 2 magnets powered by electricity (Electromagnets) that are opposite so the create a wave of magnetic field in the middle of them, and this force causes the axis rod to spin.
DC motors cannot be Stopped immediately as the momentum is high in it, it takes about some milliseconds to stop.
So far, DC motors are one of the best type of motors iny point of view, they are cheap, fast, not hard to find, And don't require much voltage to work.
Applications in robotics:
Robot wheels (Most common)
Head joints
Signal reaching rotating antennas
Rotating robots
Arial drones and winged robots
Lock systems
Phone vibrations
And more!
Thanks for the patience to read!
